Which course is right for you?

Train-to-TEFL courses are designed and delivered to industry standards by Trinity CertTESOL and CELTA trainers. We use tried and tested technologies via a dedicated Virtual Learning Platform to provide you with an enhanced learning experience.

For the casual teacher

Whilst a quick search on Google will bring up many established course providers, few provide such a comprehensive and truly interactive package. The certificate course offers great value for money and provides a qualification which will open doors to work opportunities in private language schools and academies around the world.

There are 17 interactive units with over 60 audio files and 190 interactive tasks.  At the end of each unit you will take an End of Unit Test which will allow you to assess your understanding of the module. On passing the test you are given access to following units and finally the certificate. Employers who accept online certificates require candidates to have completed 120 hours, which this course provides.

In addition to our online course, you will have email support from qualified and experienced teaching professionals for the duration of your 6 month subscription.

We can arrange for trainees to observe our team of English teachers deliver live lessons on Zoom to learners at different levels.  You will also have the opportunity to gain some valuable teaching practice experience through our community ESOL teaching programme should you wish to do some volunteering.

The course is not accredited by an outside organisation. We are a validated Trinity CertTESOL course provider which means we have been through a rigorous validation process conducted by Trinity College London in order to gain course provider status. Our online course is based on the Trinity CertTESOL syllabus and is an inhouse, online self-study course.

Previous candidates have gained employment with private language schools and academies all over the world. We can offer you guidance on job seeking and further professional development.

To work in established colleges, universitites and  associated institutions, you should consider the Trinity CertTESOL course.

For the career-minded

This course is accredited by The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA). It is a level 5 qualification which is widely recognised and well regarded by employers such as the British Council and English language teaching professionals in the UK and abroad. The course combines theory and the practice of contemporary English language teaching.

Along with the CELTA, the Trinity CertTESOL course is considered the gold standard in TEFL certification. Successful completion confers TEFL initiated status (TEFL-I) to the trainee and is a prerequisite to achieving the level 7 TEFL qualified status (TEFL Q). For more information on TEFL qualifications visit: https://www.englishuk.com

Due to the pandemic, all training input and teaching practice components have been delivered entirely online so far.

Restrictions permitting, trainees living in the Manchester (UK) area will be able to complete some teaching practice in the classroom if they prefer.

For in-service teachers

Give yourself a head start on your teacher training course by familiarising yourself with key ELT concepts and practice and get the most out of your input sessions. The course is also designed for in-service teachers looking to refresh their knowledge of the field.
This is a self-study course which allows you to learn, review and consolidate knowledge at your own pace.
